Was this a North-South traverse of the whole park? I've been considering such a route. Do you have any information on the route you took? Great pictures!

Jim, I am in awe...you have a gift in capturing the essence of what exploring the great outdoors (mind you our National Parks) is all about, not to mention how warming it is to see a father and son duo share such a trip. Your photographs are incredible, particularly the shots toward the bottom of the post that illustrate the magic of Capitol Reef's rock formations.

I've previously mentioned to you how much I love your handle, "The Perpetual Weekend". It's perfect. What a wonderful way to both view AND live life. Keep up the inspiring work! AND continue to FIND IT...flow, the joy in living. My definition of flow matches your encounters at Capitol Reef, which I hope you don't mind if share. Perhaps you'll identify with the notion and carry forward the perspective in new found light.

"Immersed in plans that change due to natural elements beyond your control, yet simultaneously making balanced, conscious decisions with both mind and heart in pursuit of the perfect adventure"
